The Good Life

Owner, Amy, has been a Gunnison resident since 1999.  She moved from Michigan to attend Western State College.  Throughout her years here she has found time to travel, ski, climb, hike, and explore the Gunnison surroundings.  She moved away a couple times for "good" only to find herself back in the valley.  She not only runs the hostel, but works as a guide with Crested Butte Mountain Guides.

Hartman Rocks, Gunnison

Hartman Rocks in Gunnison is where I spend much of my free time biking, climbing, and hiking.  It's magical out there, and not to be skipped!

One of my favorite adventures was traveling through Peru with two other wild women.  We climbed huge mountains, ate raw Alpaca, and slept out under the stars.
